"Joie de Vivre": 6/14/09

AND THIS YEARS' RACE IS............................

Well last year I completed my second sprint triathalon. It was quite the experience and I think it set the tone for me to do some kind of race every year from now on. As most of you who know me, know , that I am a huge goal setter and I love to work toward and achieve things all the time! Last year I trained for and completed a triathalon, not only that I beat my previous time!! YEA!

As tradition continues, this year 2010 I decided to run the Spanish Fork, UT 1/2 marathon on Sept 11th. Many of you wonder why Spanish Fork? I wish I had a good story for you, it's just close by and easy to get to and I think I prefer it that way!

So if you read this, I welcome any motivational thoughts, advice, encouragement and WHOOT, WHOOTS'! I am determined to finish and finish strong...... or at least cross the finish line before the sun goes down! :D

The Most Important Thing!

My sister Michele called and told me the following:

She had just gotten done talking to me about my guy drama and was going into her boys' room to say prayers, she told her boys that this Fast Sunday, they needed to fast to help Erin find a really nice guy and this was my 7 year nephew Ryland's reply:

Ryland : Well, the most important thing is, is that he's nice to me!

So I realized that I have been back from my trip in Ohio for weeks now and still haven't finished blogging about all I did, so I am going to try and catch up.....yeah right, I am going to do the best I can, but another story might have to interupt the posts every so often!

Right after Lauren, Luke, Dennis (Andrew's dad) and I went through the Kirtland Temple tour, we were excited to meet up with Andrew's mom Delta at the rock quarry park. She was so sweet to bring us dinner and The park was so beautiful! We all ate and watched Luke be cute, I figure you all can see why! :)
